For yard goods, the minimum quantity for orders is 0.5 yards per selection.   Larger quantities may be ordered in 0.25-yard increments (e.g., 2.75 yards).   Please use decimals, not fractions, when specifying yardage requirements. Should you wish to order in other increments, please call 800-769-7778.
Internet orders are processed and shipped on the following business day. If we are unable to ship requested items right away, or if there is a discrepancy in freight charges, we will contact you via email and/or telephone to inform you of the problem before we process and ship your order.
If you need faster order processing time, please place your order by calling the store directly at 1-800-769-7779 (M-F, 9 am to 5:30 pm).
Destinations Within Continental U.S. - Most items will be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS) ground service. In most cases, shipping charges (see chart below) are based on total merchandise value.
- If your order requires an adjusted shipping charge, we will provide a quotation and ask you to authorize the shipping amount before we process your order and charge your bankcard.
- Purchases over $1,000 may require additional shipping charges.
- The shipping cost chart shown below and in the shopping cart does not apply to orders sent to locations outside the contiguous 48 states, nor to items that are classified as "oversize" packages by UPS.
- PURCHASES OVER $100 WILL REQUIRE AN ADULT SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY.
- Shipping charges are calculated and displayed in the shopping cart after you provide a shipping address. You will have a chance to view shipping charges before you confirm your order.

Destinations Outside Continental U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii
- Shipping charges are based on type of delivery service, package weight, package size and distance. Baer Fabrics will quote these additional shipping charges before processing your order.
- For destinations outside the continental U.S., packages will be shipped at the most competitive UPS rate available for that destination.
- APO and FPO destinations will be shipped Parcel Post.
- Shipments with a value over $100.00 require an adult signature at the point of delivery.
Items that are extremely bulky, lightweight, heavy, or large may be classified as "oversize" packages by UPS. These items may require additional shipping charges. Items that are likely to be "oversize", particularly if purchased in multiples, include:
- quilt battings
- upholstery foams and paddings
- yard goods shipped rolled on tubes, such as velvets, home decor fabrics, and commercial upholstery materials
- home decor pillow forms
- upholstery tools, staples, fittings, and other metal items purchased in quantity
We offer competitive, wholesale pricing for commercial upholsterers. In order to view wholesale pricing on the web, you must contact our accounting department to set up an account (phone us at 1-800-769-7779, M-F, 9 am to 4 pm). A business license number is required. We will respond to your request promptly.
As of January 2008, the log-in procedure has changed. Instead of entering your Baer account number, you now enter your email address (the address associated with your account), and password.

Return to the Upholstery Products page to check your log-in status. When logged in as a wholesale customer, you will see only wholesale prices. If you want to compare wholesale and retail prices, open a second browser window and view products without logging in. You can log out on the Upholstery Products page or in the shopping cart. Logging out during checkout will "empty" the cart so that wholesale pricing is no longer visible.
When placing orders for "will call" (store pick-up) and same-day service, please phone our Commercial Products department to let them know that you are placing an order and need one of these services. We require a one-hour notice for will-call service; the cut-off is 4:30 pm Eastern time. Wholesale orders received by 2 pm (Eastern time zone) will be shipped via UPS that same day if we are notified by telephone (call 1-800-769-7779). Orders placed via the Internet, without phone contact, will be processed the following business day.
